Although it appears there have been several other postings on DA of this same view, the early evening lighting here seems to me to be a bit different. I didn't even bother to Photoshop out my own long shadow.
Nice shot! I like the way the railings seem to converge and wind up towards the buildings on the hill. It looks like it could have been used as a fort at some point in time. Def
Thanks, Wilson. Actually the village of Civita was once connected to Bagnoregio, but the erosion over the years has left it isolated. People seem to think that it will all eventually be gone through erosion. The bridge walkway is really as long as it looks. The village only has 12 residents, but lots of visitors.
It's George actually, but yeah, that's pretty cool. Only 12 people live there? I mean, i can see how there wouldn't be that many people that could fit on that hilltop, but i guess i expected a slightly larger number.
